Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Hours: Evenings 1pm - 9:30pm, Monday-Thursday, Friday 6am-2:30pm

Missouri Walnut, LLC is a 25-year-old company located in Neosho, Missouri. With nearly 100 team members at our facility covering 130+ acres, we ship hardwood lumber to over 40 countries across the globe. Missouri Walnut Group is seeking a dedicated, passionate team member to work within our Maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician's role is to perform all equipment preventative maintenance as well as facilities related electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, welding, instrument, and pipe fitting work. Utilizes process and maintenance knowledge to assist in the planning and performance of all tasks. Participates in teams to develop and implement solutions. The successful candidate must have a passion for safety and be able to foster effective working relationships built upon trust and respect within all levels of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Perform preventative maintenance

· Ability to perform repairs on machines

· Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures

· Regular/dependable attendance required

· Flexibility of work hours including overtime

· Must have knowledge and skills in Welding/Fabrication

· Boiler operation or ability to learn boiler operation is a must

· Use of hand tools and machinery is required to maintain equipment and buildings

· Able to work with and around moving equipment/machines

· Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems plant wide

· Effectively Utilize the CMMS Program

· Recommend equipment upgrades and repairs when necessary

· Assist in efforts of cost control including labor, material, waste, etc.

· Perform scheduled job order work, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair

· Must maintain a PIV license

· Completes tasks, work orders, and projects as assigned and regularly meets deadlines

· Uses organizational and planning techniques to maximize personal productivity

· Participates in Missouri Walnut's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ability to rotate to other positions as needed

· Support and participate in 5S events and other activities

· Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Previous manufacturing experience preferred

· Minimum of two (2) years in related maintenance trade or occupation that involved electrical, hydraulic machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment

· Previous electrical experience preferred

· Electrical License a plus

· Welding/Fabrication

· Boiler experience

· Standard and Technical Blue Print Reading

· Mechanical Troubleshooting

· Industrial Math

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US

Missouri Walnut Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Material Handler to become a valued team member within our operations team. This position will work closely with other operations personnel to help drive efficiency and complete the applicable tasks at hand. Bi-lingual is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Loading and unloading lumber from the line.

• Tracking lumber counts and inventory

• Responsible for managing the production flow of lumber through the production line.

• Responsible for banding and unbanding of lumber.

• Perform routine inspection and routine maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects and major repairs to mechanic.

• Operate small equipment and tools to maintain the equipment.

• Other duties as may be assigned by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and/or understand basic English in order to comply with safety requirements and supervisor instructions.

• Must have experience in the operation and use of medium and/or heavy equipment.

• Must be able to use equipment and tools to perform basic duties including cutting and measuring of items.

• Must possess the ability to follow instructions.

• Great work ethic

• Bilingual a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Work will be indoors, but can experience high heat and cold.

• Employee is required to mount and dismount from the equipment on a regular basis in the performance of the job.

• Must follow all personal protective equipment and safety requirements.

• Work is in a dusty and noisy environment.

• Employee will be required to frequently lift/move up 50 – 100 lbs at a time.
